Community Conversation with Executive Director, Ben Schumacher

We would like to welcome our current Teach For America corps members and regional alumni in Nashville and Chattanooga for a community conversation hosted by Executive Director, Ben Schumacher.

At Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga, we have been reflecting on how we can live up to our into our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Among other things, we have expanded identity development and culturally relevant teaching as part of our program, increased staff diversity, and considered our work through an equity lens.

We still have so much more to do, and we know it will take all of us, working together toward an equitable and just society that starts with our role in education and our partnership with our TFA network.

Ben will be joined by the TFA Nashville-Chattanooga regional leadership team, who will be available for questions and feedback. We hope you will join us for this conversation.
