About the Event
This is a year like none other, but our community has and will see us through.
In this time of turmoil, we remember that self-care, joy, and rest is a liberation practice. Your TFA staff of color invite you to cooking and community with your network of corps members and alumni who identify as Black, indigenous and people of color.
We've learned so much this year. We never thought we'd learn how to have game nights, birthday parties, and graduations through Zoom! So why not learn to cook? And what better way to do that than with a MasterChef?
Chef Gerron Hurt is the winner of of Fox's MasterChef season 9, a teacher in Metro Nashville, and a TFA Nashville Aspiring School Leader Fellow.
This is an event for Teach For America alumni, corps members, and staff living in Nashville or Chattanooga who identify as Black, indigenous or people of color.
Let's learn, create, and care for each other. We look forward to seeing you soon!
