WOW! I had such a great time with you all yesterday. Hope those of you who joined, had fun too! Shout out to team Wacky Wildcats and I am the Moose for a tied win! We will definitely have to reconvene in the new year to establish a final Scattergories champ! Anyway, This blast contains a time sensitive action item and some other information looking ahead I wanted to make sure you have quick access to—please read the entirety of this blast when you can. In this email you will find: one important data action item with office hours happening TODAY, our progress toward AmeriCorps requirements completion, and a resource for celebrating your students virtually. This email is long and I am so sorry, but I hope this information is clear and sets us up for success next semester. Please let me know if you have questions about anything!

NEW ACTION ITEM DUE 12/18 (MANDATORY):

Here is what you need to do to submit data:

  1. Start filling out this form.

  2. When you get to the second page, it will give you options for the type of data you can submit. The main criteria is to use a benchmark that will be given again at the end of the year. This is so we can measure growth.

  3. Submit form

  4. If you have any questions, there will be office hours held today from 5-6pm CST to answer any questions.

FINISHING THE WEEK:

This week is about finishing with joy and celebrating your students! Celebration and recognition is a pillar of building community, so make sure you find a way to make students feel seen and celebrated! You guys have been through a lot together this semester. Here is a short podcast with ideas on how and why to celebrate your students virtually!

LOOKING AHEAD:

In January, I will be signing Mid-year reviews. This review helps you know your standing in TFA and your eligibility for the AmeriCorps Award. The following table shows the programming taken into account when I do midyear AmeriCorps review. In general, please always communicate with me, or the heads of any programming, if you are going to miss an event or need an extension for a deadline.

**If you want to know your personal data, please connect with me and I’d be happy to share it with you! Also, if you have any questions, please let me know. Here is the CM Handbook for reference!
