The Capitol Hill Fellows Program is a year-long program that places Teach For America alumni in full-time, paid congressional staff positions on Capitol Hill. Applications for the 2023 TFA Capitol Hill Fellows Program will are open until Monday, January 9th, 2023. Click here to learn more.

The 2023 School Leader of Color Conference Registration is LIVE | SLOC, specifically designed for current and aspiring school and school systems leaders who identify as Black, Indigenous, and people of color, will take place in Los Angeles on February 3-4, 2023. The alumni board was formed by TFA alumni in 2020 with the vision to inspire and engage Teach For America alumni in Nashville to take collective action to advance One Day for all students. Their priorities are to create spaces for alumni to connect, to increase capacity for alumni to to take action, and to promote initiatives for alumni to take collective action. ConnectED Chattanooga: Wednesday, January 18th 5:30pm - 8:00pm EST is an opportunity for educators of color in Chattanooga to build a communal healing practice. We will go beyond the individualism of self care and support the collective journey towards reflection, self-advocacy, and growth. “When we are all healing, the world has no choice but to adapt.” Click here to learn more.

Giving What We Can is offering high schools full sponsorship to host a charity election—a school-wide election among three charities, in which students vote to direct up to $2K in sponsored funds (provided through a grant) to their choice of three highly impactful charities making lives better around the world. Kode With Klossy instructor applications for Summer 2023 are open! Kode with Klossy aims to change the face of tech by uplifting girls, gender nonconforming, and transgender youth by teaching them with coding fundamentals.
