Dr. Bree Woods
Director, Teacher Leadership Development in Chattanooga
As Director of Teacher Leadership Development, Bree designs the leadership and coaching development of our Managers of Teacher Leadership Development and supports our corps members throughout their 2-year experience.
Originally from Chattanooga, TN, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has taught middle school social studies for 15 years in both Chattanooga and New Mexico before joining the Teach For America team in 2021.
Bree earned her Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from New Mexico State University, she studied Transformational Leadership from Concordia University – Portland, and earned her Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership from Northcentral University.
