As a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development, Elizabeth coaches, develops the instructional leadership, and provides support to our teachers in Nashville. This includes coaching corps members toward expanding perspectives, facilitating small group sessions, and designing learning experiences to advance the academic and person growth of their students. Elizabeth partners with schools, communities, students, and families as well as the broader regional team to build a culture that celebrates unique contributions and unites people around shared values and common purpose.
Prior to joining staff, Elizabeth was teacher and team lead at Antioch High School, where she was also a 2020 MNPS teacher of the year. She joined Teach For America as a corps member in 2016 after graduating from California State University in 2013 with a Bachelors or Art in History. Elizabeth holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lipscomb University where she graduated in 2017.
