Raneisha Arnett

Director, Corps Onboarding

As the Director of Corps Onboarding, Raneisha Sets the vision and strategy for corps member experience from the moment the applicant is accepted until the beginning pre-service training, to maximize the scale, diversity, and impact of TFA's mission.

Originally from Memphis, TN, Raneisha taught middle and high school English Language arts for 7 years in Memphis City and Shelby County Schools. Throughout her years teaching, Raneisha sought to impact students both inside and outside of the classroom, serving as Cheerleading Coach, Athletic Director, ELA Chair, and Lead Teacher. Raneisha also earned the level 5 TVAAS rating (the highest level of teaching proficiency in Tennessee) and was recognized as a Master Teacher and Literacy Advisor.

In 2017, Raneisha joined the Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga team to develop the instructional leadership of first- and second-year teachers in Nashville. She has also led teachers at Teach For America Nashville-Chattanooga's summer teacher training as both an Instructional Coach and School Director. She earned her Bachelor of Science from University of Tennessee, her Masters in Education in Educational Management from Strayer University, and is a member of Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE).
