As Senior Managing Director of Program Impact, Sanjana sets vision, develops strategy, and manages our Program Impact through our program continuum.
Sanjana, joined Teach For America in 2007 as a corps member, where she taught third grade in New Orleans for three years. In 2010, she moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development where she received her Master of Education degree in Human Development Counseling – School Counseling and became a National Board Certified Counselor. Sanjana then joined the administration and leadership team of Cameron College Prep Middle School, first serving as the school counselor and later as their Dean of Culture. She joined Teach For America staff in 2016 to lead our Teacher Leadership Development team until 2019, when she began building the vision for our regional programming.
