Jerry Williams

Community Leader

Jerry Williams is the former Executive Director of Leadership Nashville. Leadership Nashville was founded in 1976 and has grown since Williams’ tenure to become one of the oldest and most respected leadership programs in the country. Williams succeeded founding director Corinne Franklin in 1994. In her tenure as Executive Director, Williams has led more than 1,000 community, nonprofit and business leaders through the Leadership Nashville program.


Jerry continues to be involved in the Nashville community as a board member for the Nashville Public Education Foundation and Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. In 2021, Jerry received the Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award from the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for 25-year long tenure as a philanthropic leader in Nashville.
