Rascoe Dean

Rascoe Dean is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and currently serves as a Special Assistant at the U.S. Attorney’s office. He began his commitment to education in 2010 as a Teach For America corps member in Memphis, teaching 10th and 11th grade English.


After graduating from Vanderbilt University law school, Rascoe served as a law clerk for Judge Gilbert Merritt on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Since leaving the classroom, Mr. Dean has remained passionate about ensuring that all students have the opportunity to receive a high-quality education. He also serves the Valor Collegiate Board and volunteers for the Martha O’Bryan Center’s Post-Secondary Success Mentorship Program.
