Join us this week for our Teach For America National Equity Talks: A Post-Election Conversation. This is a one-hour, live event during which attendees will hear from Teach For America's National CommunityAlliance leads on how they envision a path forward for advocacy and activism.

The Capitol Hill Fellows Program is accepting nominations for this year-long program that will train and place a group of Teach For America alumni in full-time, paid, congressional staff positions on Capitol Hill in late summer 2021. The program offers Fellows incredible insights into the legislative process and an opportunity to gain experience in policy-making at the national level. Applications for the 2021 Capitol Hill Fellows Program will open Tuesday, December 1st, 2020, and close Friday, January 15, 2021.

November is National American Indian Heritage Month. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the rich ancestry and traditions of Native Americans. While our presidential election cycle comes to a close, and you consider the role you will play in this transition to governance in light of your professional responsibilities as a member of the TFA Network, we want to partner with you in collecting tools and resources you can use and things you can turn-key to your colleagues to support them.


The Diverse Charter Schools Coalition is actively recruiting leaders for its School Launch Fellowship that begins summer 2021. DCSC has a particular interest in entrepreneurial leaders who want to launch excellent, intentionally integrated, public charter schools in Nashville. Have you been interested in impacting educational equity through a career in policy and advocacy, but aren't sure where to start? Join Leadership for Educational Equity's new workshop, where you'll get the information and support to help jumpstart your career.


The Introduction to Policy and Advocacy Careers Workshop is a virtual program that aims to demystify policy and advocacy and prepare members to explore opportunities in their region. It consists of a series of self-paced modules and a 2-hour live virtual workshop where members will get to hear from leaders in the field. The live virtual workshop will take place on Tuesday, December 8 at 5:00 pm.
